Our Magrath Lions Club opening meeting for 2013 was held at the Magrath Fishpond near our new Terry Trainer Memorial Park. Started with a cleanup pass around the park and then had a pleasant picnic in the Town Shelter. Lion Roger plans to assist catch up of financial reports required by AGLC (the Aug 2012 report is needed before we can be approved for next Casino event in Jan 2014) and for outstanding Society Annual Returns for 2011 and 2012. Lion Elizabeth reported plans for our upcoming annual No Cost Clothing event to be held in mid September (14-15 Sep at Town Arena). She will organize flyers and place announcements in local church bulletins. We will be working this event in place of our Sep 2013 meeting - see you all there! Lion Roger
